Regardless of how you might feel about Jordan as a state, about monarchical governments in general or about the potential hypocrisy in the ultra-elite championing a dialogue of equality, one thing is true here:
Queen Raina is using YouTube, and the general internet, for a purpose too rarely seen these days – as a vehicle to attempt to affect change and foster a sharing of ideas.
I say general internet because beyond the closed circles of academia and open source projects, the internet of today is a lawless mess of rolls and girls with cups.
If this plays out as I hope it will, the Queen’s program will be succesful in at least being a test case for future users to attempt something similar, royalty or no.
